We are very happy to inform all or our residents that the City of Irving has awarded our Neighborhood Association with a $1,500 grant. The grant will be used to fund specific projects during the spring and summer months. First on the list will be to have landscaping placed around the sign at the entrance to our development. Next will be funding for advertising and signage for our garage sale now scheduled for May. Also on the list will be a neighborhood block party in June. Neighborhood Garage Sale Scheduled for May 15-16 |
|
Our neighborhood garage sale is now scheduled for Friday, May 15 and Saturday, May 16. As mentioned previously the sale is being held to raise enough money to hire someone to cut and edge the strip of land that runs alongside our development on Pioneer. Donations of items to sell and volunteers to work the event are needed. Additionally, monetary donations are also needed to purchase advertising, signage and refreshments for the sale. Ed Cancel (corner of High Crest Ct. and High Crest Dr.) has volunteered the use of his driveway to set up tables. Anyone wishing to volunteer or contribute in any way can contact us here. As always, comments and suggestions are welcome. With everyone's help the sale can be a big success! |

Thanks to everyone who contributed to the new development sign. The old sign was long overdue for an overhaul, and more than $1,400 was donated by residents of our community to have it replaced. Fastsigns did a great job, and thanks to Jim and Verna Wilson for managing the project and working with the group at Fastsigns.
